Oblivious
By: Smallville's Girl
“Clark, explain to me why we are here?” Lex said, standing in the middle of a large crowd, Clark pressed against him. He turned and looked at Clark for an answer. Clark grinned down at him, and kissed Lex’s forehead.
“Because Lana and Chloe hate Metallica; Lana won tickets from the local radio station and didn’t want to go. So, here you and I are. And you’re here with me because you love me.”
“Damn right I do,” Lex said just before the music started. The lights went down, the beats started hard and fast and Lex felt Clark’s body moving behind him. Hands moved quickly to Lex’s waist and they moved together with the hard beats of music. They were oblivious to all the others around them, yelling and screaming with the music; they were alone. Lex’s hands reached back and latched onto Clark’s hair and pulled him forward into a bruising kiss. The kiss broke slowly and Lex removed his hands from Clark’s hair and rested them on Clark’s ass for the remainder of the concert.
They rode back to Smallville in the limo, sharing kisses and whispers.
“We *kiss* should really *kiss* thank Lana for those *kiss* tickets *kiss*” Lex said softly, kissing Clark along his jaw.
“You mean you like the concert?” Clark asked, astonished.
“Of course not; that concert was the perfect place for us. No one was even paying attention to us. For the first time in a long time, there were no cameras, no reporters; just us.”
Lex leaned back against Clark’s chest and fell asleep to Clark’s deep breathing.
